It is reported that the project is an investment promotion industrial project in Xiangzhou District in 2017. The main investor of this project is Tianjin Shenglong Fibre Co., Ltd., which is a national high-tech enterprise. In May 2017, the newly registered Xiangyang Shenglong Fiber Co., Ltd. in Xiangzhou District implemented the project, mainly producing automotive brown fiber elastic cushions, automotive brown fiber sleeper mats, car seat liners, etc. Xiangyang Shenglong Fibre is the important supporting enterprises for Dongfeng, Beiqi Foton, Changchun FAW, Shanxi Automobile Heavy Truck and Geely.

    The total investment of the project is 180 million yuan. It has built one of the world's leading domestic and only Austrian DOA mainframe production lines, and built a new plant fiber automobile mat mold production line, three sets of constant temperature hot pressing system and related auxiliary equipment, among which the car seat and sleeper products mainly use elastic plant fiber materials (imported natural rubber, coconut shreds) made by a unique process. The product is eco-friendly and degradable, and is an ideal product to replace polyurethane foam; civilian high-elastic mat is a hot product in domestic soft furniture, radiating domestic and foreign markets. After the project is completed and put into production, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 200 million yuan, an annual tax of 8 million yuan, and 100 jobs.
